New Managing Director at LUMEN
Since 1 January 2026, Axel Hovestad has been Managing Director of LUMEN GmbH, IREKS U.K. Ltd. ICD and DUPON NEDERLAND B.V. V. He succeeds the long standing Managing Director Theo van Heffe, who has retired and wil continue to support us in an advisory function.
Axel Hovestad studied business administration at the Zuyd University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands and has many years of experience in senior management positions at international B2B service providers and wholesale companies in Germany and the Ne therlands. Most re cently, he worked as an interim manager and supported companies in challenging situations with their strategic and operational realignment.
In his new role, Axel Hovestad aims to strengthen the connections between the individual players in the LUMEN Group, particularly with regard to international customer markets, and to further expand cooperation with the IREKS Group.
